There are so many things that can get us down in this world and our story begins with feelings of insecurity and despair. As Tim our founder went through his teens there were many times when he just wanted to give up.  When he picked up his guitar, the world seemed to become a little brighter, a better place, filled with possibilities. Many years later, looking back, Tim could see that guitar gave him the outlet he needed to deal with the stresses of family and school.  So he started Don't Give Up Guitar as a way to help others learn what he had and to keep close to the music that supported him all those formative years.

Tim has written a number of songs including Turning Point, When I Look In Her Eyes, Fly. He enjoys spending time with the family and working on improving his own skills while teaching others how to play guitar.  He has mastered a number of genres and is comfortable teaching most any style.  If you want to learn a new style he is quick to grab a "tab" and start jamming.
